Bio

My earliest memories come from Menands, NY where I grew up, but before my parents moved there - we did live in Watervliet! The main reason for moving was the birth of my sister, Karen - we are just shy of two years apart and great friends to this day!

We had a cat named Cleo who joined the family before I was born - my first pet who I loved dearly. Throughout the years we had a few other pets - 2 guinea pigs named Mico and Moca, several different fish and a medium sized mutt named Lucy come to mind!

I attended Menands school until 5th grade when we moved to East Greenbush to celebrate the arrival of my youngest sister, Marianna, who is over 10 years younger than me! She currently works at the agency as our social media manager!

For middle school I begrudgingly attended Holy Spirit School, can’t say I had a great experience there! I did however meet a handful of great people I’m in touch with till this day.

All the while Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts was a major part of my life that helped me stay in touch with friends I made in Menands and grow as a leader. I would go on to earn my Eagle Scout award and work at Rotary Scout Reservation for four summers. Truly the best job I’ve ever had - I learned what it takes to be a great teacher and a responsible professional.

In 2011 I graduated from Columbia High School and began attending SUNY Albany for Actuarial Sciences - even at 18 I was sure insurance was the field for me - though I did not yet know I’d end up on the agency side of things!

Throughout college I became passionate about my work in food service. Once I earned my degree I was eager to make a go at opening my own coffee shop in Troy, NY. This venture ultimately was not successful and came to a close during the difficult times of 2020.

I needed a new job quick! This led me to accepting a position at Norlite in Cohoes as the scale master - this job was not a great fit... but I learned a lot about the world of trucking and mining! I hope to reconnect with this industry as an insurance professional in the near future!

Most recently, I worked as a State Farm agent team member. This is how I really learned the production side of the insurance industry. I take great pleasure in understanding the nuance to insurance policies and sharing my knowledge and observations with anyone who will listen!

Finally, in July of 2026 my father and I opened the doors to Loomis Family Insurance Agency. This is truly my proudest moment and I’m very excited to share our expertise with the world. Insurance brings us all together and helps us feel prepared for the uncertain future. Most importantly, insurance can be fun!
